Are You Too Critical With Men?

Tip of the Day: Never approach any situation with a man when you're full of anger. Wait until that anger passes - in most cases, wait a full day.

Are you too critical with men?

If so, then how did this all get started?

And how did it get worse?

It probably got started when you were raised by someone who was... very critical!

Gripe, gripe, gripe. Then you go to your grandparents' house...

The grandparents don't criticize YOU, bless their hearts. But they criticize everything else, from the people on TV, to other relatives, to each other... (yes, it's a bit funny to see the bickering sometimes).

Then you grow up (supposedly) and what kind of guy do you latch on to?

You guessed it. Mr. Critical.

He's a lot older than you so you think he knows more.

Along the way, you watch movies and TV and you're sure to hear zinger after zinger... of the cleverest kind.

So by the time you're this age, you may be an expert at being critical, AND at using words that cause more stinging pain to others than you realize.

It's not like you didn't know that being ultra critical was a bad thing. But you thought you were only critical when it mattered.

Little did you know that you developed a bad habit that seeps into your relationships at the worst possible times.

What's wrong with being critical?

It's the worst thing you can possibly do if you want to be loved and lovable.

It's the worst thing you can do if you want to make your loved ones happier, healthier, and glad to have you around.

It's also the worst thing you can do if YOU want to live long and well and all the rest of it.

Dale Carnegie said, "Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most fools do. But it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving."

So when you feel stressed, rushed, and angry....

When you feel the urge to explode...

When you want to get out the poison pen and write some snide words...

Don't do it, because the one who gets poisoned will be you.

So here is your great opportunity to shine:

A wise woman knows that if she DOESN'T criticize, condemn, and complain, she stands out from the rest in an amazing way!
